1. Objective of the Programme
A programme was organized at Nandotra Brahmanvas village with the objective of creating awareness among farmers and villagers about Natural Farming, encouraging them to adopt natural farming practices, and educating them about its various benefits.
2. Dignitaries and Participants Present
The following dignitaries, officials, staff members, students, and villagers were present during the programme:
* Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (VC) of Dantiwada Agricultural University
* Mr. Bharatbhai Solanki from Sajeevan Life Pvt. Ltd.
* Officials, staff members, and students of Dantiwada Agricultural University
* Farmers and villagers of Nandotra Brahmanvas village
* Mr. Karsanbhai Mali, Director of Hariyalu Banas Dantiwada Farmer Producer Company
3. Programme Activities
In the presence of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, an awareness rally on Natural Farming was organized throughout the village with active participation from villagers and students. The rally promoted slogans supporting Natural Farming and highlighted its importance.
During the rally, farmers and villagers were encouraged to adopt Natural Farming practices. Awareness was created regarding maintaining soil fertility, protecting the environment, and using natural methods in agriculture.
After the rally, a meeting with farmers was organized at the residence of Mr. Karsanbhai Mali, Director of Hariyalu Banas Dantiwada Farmer Producer Company.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor held a detailed discussion with farmers on Natural Farming. Farmers were guided and motivated to adopt Natural Farming practices and to encourage other farmers to move towards sustainable agricultural methods.
4. Distribution of Organic C-1 Certificates
During the programme, Organic C-1 Certificates were distributed to farmers by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Dantiwada Agricultural University.
All the farmers who received the certificates were congratulated and encouraged to continue adopting and expanding Natural Farming practices in the future.
5. Outcome of the Programme
The programme successfully created positive awareness about Natural Farming among the farmers and villagers of Nandotra Brahmanvas. Farmers received valuable guidance regarding the importance and benefits of Natural Farming and were motivated to adopt such practices.
The presence of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, university officials, staff members, and students added significant value and importance to the programme. Farmers and villagers actively participated and extended their wholehearted support throughout the event.
Conclusion
The programme organized to promote Natural Farming was successful and inspiring. It played an important role in increasing awareness and interest among farmers towards environmentally sustainable and natural agricultural practices.
